Sandeep Shah, better known as Sandy, is an ardent strategist and professional philanthropist for over 20 years. He believes that the core business of any business should be value creation for humanity. Raised in a family of doctors and nurtured in an environment which encouraged contribution towards society, Sandeep has journeyed through the stark realities of life and has arrived at a juncture where his sole mission is to create a legacy through his business acumen. To complete this mission, he has founded the holding company ‘House of Sandy Consulting Pvt. Ltd’ under which he operates as a catalyst of a futuristic economy based on art, culture, entertainment and nation- building initiatives. He has also founded the Financial Management company Four Aces Advisory Pvt. Ltd, which focuses on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, financial consulting and venture capital projects. At the core of his person, though, Sandy goes by Zen’s quote of “kindness is the eternal law”. We can easily say his operating system is encoded with humility, compassion and magnanimity and he is dedicated to leave behind a legacy of a better world made of better, happier people.

People hire specialists to transform companies, but Sandeep is out to transform countries. After travelling the world and discovering new populaces who need an economic impetus, he has avowed to invest his efforts and skills to add value to humanity which would make real difference.
He plans to achieve this by using his core competencies and leveraging his solid network to forge mutually beneficial alliances between conglomerates of different countries to ensure economic sustainability for its people.
For instance, one of the projects he has initialized an SPV for promoting Art & Culture in Middle East and India. He has also set up a private equity fund for a conglomerate to invest in Infrastructure for India and South East Asia.
Not just companies, but owing to his top notch people skills, Sandeep is also apt at creating valuable partnerships between the Governments of different countries. His vision is to fuel projects between two economies, which will generate employability and facilitate bilateral trade that will ultimately be beneficial to the citizens.
Nurturing India
Beginning with his own country, India, he envisions to initiate sector-agnostic projects, which will serve the underprivileged people and build the country ’s economy at a macro-level. After having travelled the length and breadth of the country including the interiors, Sandeep believes that the key sectors, which form the pillars of her economy are infrastructure, healthcare, girl child & women empowerment, and education. His long-term goal is to divert energies towards these sectors and create business value for a nation, which has immense potential of progress.

The Career Story So Far
One of his top feats is the turnaround of Shri Amitabh Bachchan’s company, ABCL where he worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO. With his strong networking skills and sense of strategy, he helped changed the fortunes of the company that was mired in debt.
Post this stint, he served as Chairman & Managing Director, SEAC Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai to lead media and entertainment related projects, which promote art and culture as a means of economic development of a nation. He has collaborated with a Hollywood icon to create an ambitious platform for environment awareness through workshops, events and thought-leadership, to save the planet and leave behind a legacy.
He was the first to foray into a collaboration with a Bollywood and Hollywood production for the film ‘Marigold’.
He has collaborated with India’s largest media conglomerate to promote tourism and investments in a South East Asian Country Presently, as a business philanthropist, he is dedicated to establishing valuecreation projects, which would fuel an economic progress between conglomerates as well as countries, leading to the development of the people.
Sandy has been conferred the honour of being the Board Member of two prestigious foundations a) Alternative Development Organization (ADO) based in Oslo, Norway, (which is affiliated with the Nobel Peace Prize in its research endeavor) and b) India-Japan Foundation (IJF) based in Tokyo, Japan, guided and co-founded by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe.
These organisations implement new models of socio-economic development framework known as the Alternative Development Model (ADM) which functions on the principles of nonexploitation of people, resources and environment for equitable & empowering opportunities. The ADM evolved from the India-Japan Global Partnership (IJGP) that has resulted in many successful initiatives including the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), a USD 90 billion initiative designed to help industries flourish, generate employment and promote sustainable living across six states in India.

Sandeep J Shah is the Former Special Envoy to Commission of Peace at University of Peace (UPeace), United Nations (UN) mandated, he worked towards its Peace Innovation Initiative, which is a cross-cultural, and sustainable system to drive forward peace education for sustainability.
As an envoy, he was entrusted with the responsibility of establishing the mission of peace and sustainability in partnership with universities and public/private institutions. Sustainable peace arises from peace and stability in society by creating an environment that nurtures communities and supports businesses that can in turn provide essential social services and livelihood opportunities, resulting in peace and sustainable development. Peace through focussing on sustainable development goals(SDGs) & Inclusive growth to create atmosphere of security which leads to peace and stability in the world.
